CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL ORGAN COMPETITION FESTIVAL Every fall, the Canadian International Organ Competition (CIOC) Festival pays tribute to the mighty pipe organ — the "King of Instruments." The storied past, and the bright future, of the organ underpins the CIOC Festival. For about eight weeks, the festival celebrates these wonderful, complex wind machines and the exceptional musicians who make them sing with several events around the city, bringing many of the world's finest organists to Montréal for a diverse programme of concerts and activities, many of them free. The CIOC is also the sponsor of the Festival des Couleurs de l'orgue français since 2013.
