Montréal Alliance - Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL)

CANADIAN ELITE BASKETBALL LEAGUE (CEBL) The Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) has announced that the Montréal Alliance is being added as its ninth franchise. Montréal joins Scarborough in the second round of CEBL expansion since the league launched prior to the 2019 season in other cities across the country. Québec becomes the fifth province to serve as home to a CEBL team in what is Canada's first true coast-to-coast national pro basketball league. The team nickname, Alliance, was chosen to reflect Montreal's mosaic of municipalities and communities that together are an alliance that make Montréal one of the world's great cities. Montreal Comic Arts Festival

12TH EDITION This event is the largest comic arts festival in Canada. On the last weekend of May, it welcomes comic creators, publishers and their audiences to celebrate comic arts from here and abroad. Bilingual and free, the outdoor event is designed to be accessible and inclusive in order to democratize comics. It features panels and conversations about comic arts, live drawing animations, drawing and reading workshops, exhibitions, hundreds of hours of book signings and more!
