Wolves - The Art of Dempsey Bob

THE ART OF DEMPSEY BOB Drawing on his ancestry, Dempsey Bob, an accomplished wood carver, with totem poles erected in the United States, England and Japan, blends traditional narratives and iconography with contemporary influences. Winner of the 2021 Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts, the artist's exhibition, Wolves, presented at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, showcases a plethora of work including masks, wall sculptures, vessels and regalia.
