Each sister discovered and developed her own style and technique, whether in painting or in other media, such as sculpture, copper enamelling or screen printing. Their compositions became more personal and less conventional than formerly. They spent less time copying the works of great European masters, and the choice of subject was more varied from one artist to another. Discover what inspired them!
